“ This is a cute restaurant in a nondescript shopping center. The menu is diverse and the service was good. Ordered their Jamaican drink and chicken satay. Chicken was great as was the dipping sauce. Their peanut sauce was much thicker than I have seen elsewhere, almost like peanut butter. It wasn’t to my liking, but it didn’t detract from the dish overall. ”
“ Absolutely delicious and authentic Thai food. Nice view, watching planes landing. Everything was good. Our favorites are Tom yum seafood, Papaya Salad, Stew pork legs with rice and veggies, and Khana moo krob (stir fried green collard with crispy pork). ”
“ I ate here twice in 3 days and if I wasn’t on vacation here I’d probably be back 3 more times this week. I was craving drunken noodles even though I’ve literally never had them before but I watched some videos about them and this place seemed to be the best priced in town. I got the chicken drunken noodles and pot stickers night 1 and night 2 I got shrimp and chicken drunken noodles. Both times medium. Truly phenomenal. The flavor was so good. There was a nice heat to them too. The lady at the front was a pleasure each time I came in as well. ”
“ Drumroll please Finally, Tampa has a restaurant that serves great Thai food!! I'm so impressed with the simplicity of decor, clarity of service and absolute deliciousness of food!! We had the som-thum & absolutely loved it. We opted for the somthum #10 with just the dried shrimp. We also tried the yummy ooey-gooey chicken wings, the spicy/sour sauce that is served on the side with the wings is the bomb!! Finger licking good!! Also enjoyed the chicken Pad GaProw & the Thai basil fried rice. Loved every dish! Great spice levels, we opted for 4 on all dishes and it packed a fantastic punch! I got a Thai iced tea to cool the taste buds a little... We were welcomed with a warm smile. Jib provided wonderfully friendly service, kept checking on us and was super efficient! Thank you Jib! Can't wait to go back to try more, especially the desserts ”
“ I think I found my favorite Thai restaurant in Tampa. The grilled pork was so juicy and incredibly flavorful, dipping sauce was so good. Love the hand cut drunken noodles, tasted amazing. Service was lovely as well, I will definitely revisit to try other dishes! ”
“ As a Chinese American who enjoys well made Asian food. This is a good place to get your spice level and flavor profiles of Thai food. I do recommend this spot, and I’ve come twice. I’ve had Sichuan spicy from Chengdu, China and it was the spiciest thing I had. Compared to this restaurant the level 4, and 5 are good and brings good heat. If you’re gauging your spice, go lower than what you expect and ask for the spice rack. I’ve ordered the Pad See Ew, Chicken Satay, and Pad gra pow. Give it a go, definitely did not disappoint. ”
“ Absolutely the best! We stumbled into Royal Thai Tampa after an appointment in the area, and we were so surprised to find such amazing quality food. Everything was insanely good, super fresh, so delicious, and full of incredible flavor. We had the Yen at four soup, delicious seafood broth with white mushrooms, calamari and shrimp, the Royal green papaya salad was one of the best I had, and the fry calamari extra crispy and full of flavor, Can’t wait to try other dishes. Honestly, it’s the best Thai food I’ve had so far. The service was great too. The ladies at the counter and in the dining room were super polite and friendly. The place itself is simple, colorful, really cozy and extremely clean, Nothing fancy, just a comfortable, welcoming spot with top notch food. The prices were super fair and the portions were very generous, definitely great value for the quality you get. If you’re anywhere nearby, or not, you’ve got to check out Royal Thai Tampa. A hidden Gem!!Totally recommend it! This is a 5 stars for sure! ”
“ My husband and I have dined here 3 times already, and I can confidently give Royal Thai 5 stars. The food is very fresh, wonderful flavors. It seems very authentic. I love the Thai tea, and the appetizers are fantastic. Although everything we have tried has been great, the pork jerky and Pad Gra Pow are standouts! I must mention that the service is very good, we've had the same server each time and she is wonderful! ”
